Indievania is an online game marketplace for independent developers to sell their games directly to players. Unlike other game distributors, 100% of the cost of the game goes to the developer. Customers can purchase games directly from the developers own merchant account, supporting the original developers and helping fund further development. NASA wants to put a picture of you on one of the two remaining space shuttle missions and launch it into orbit. To launch your face into space and become a part of history, just follow these steps:

First…Select the Participate button at the bottom of this page and upload your image/name, which will be flown aboard the space shuttle. Don’t have a picture to upload? No problem, just skip the image upload and we will fly your name only on your selected mission!

Next…Print and save the confirmation page with your flight information.

Later…Return to this site after the landing to print your Flight Certificate – a commemorative certificate signed by the Mission Commander. You can also check on mission status, view mission photographs, link to various NASA educational resources and follow the commander and crew on Twitter or Facebook

Just stumbled across this music player yesterday, beats out the normal iPod app with editable playlists (3 years and NOW we get this?? about time) concert updates based on your music library, direct links to watch music videos, artists page, and skins. I’ve replaced my iPod icon in the dock with Amp Music Player, it does everything the iPod does except better, and with more features.

Okay, so only Visual Studio 2010 and SQL Server are in their Official RTM release forms today, so, if you’re itching to get free lunch and try out the latest VS2010 final, sign up and go!

Like most past, free MS Events that have ‘Launch’ in them related to Visual Studio, they’ll likely be giving you a 100% free, full copy of VS2010 at these events (not yet confirmed, see FAQ on their website), if not more.
(eg. for the past VS2008 launch, they gave away Vista Ultimate for free, too. They also gave away VS2005 in another prior Launch event, too.)

They =might= just give away something extra this time if they’re willing, since it’s confirmed that Office 2010 RTM will go live to businesses on May 12th (also in time for these events). Worth it given the huge number of changes in VS2010. A freebie Office 2010 if they’re willing would be nice, too.

Now, which track: IT or Developer? If they’re cheap and only give away Office or VS based on tracks, there you go. IT if you wish for Office, Developer if you wish for VS. Again, nothing’s confirmed (see FAQ on their website).
