Question by Bradley: How to convince your parents to let you go back to your old school?
Well–this year my parents started sending me to a new school that they claim is “better”. At my new school I have no friends and you have to wear uniforms. I STRONGLY dislike this school but my parents won’t let me go back to my old one. What can I do to convince them? Please help.

Start doing a crappy job at the new school, then they will think that the new school is bad.

i would carry on going to the new school and try to make friends and do well because if its better it can really help you when your older and your looking for a job and that but if you really really want to go back then just start doing bad in your school and say your getting bullied and all that

P.s you might not like your new school. But if your parents say it better than i would take the deal. New friends can always be made, the uniform is only worn in school, take advantage of this deal get your butt out of school into a good college and onto a great career. $ $
I would say stay in the new school. Believe me, when your in college your going to wish that you went to better elementary, middle and high schools. Friends are everywhere, you just put your mind and spirit into the friend making process. But school standards and reputations are totally different, because they are very hard to come by. Thousands of parents are desperate to send their kids to “good” schools because schools are getting a lot worse. I live in NYC, and a part of one of the “Top” school districts in the country. Just be patient. Uniforms aren’t bad.. they promote discipline and unit among students, and therefore you’ll have a much better time. Would you rather go to a ghetto or better school? Even if your older one is not ghetto, still try the new one out. It wouldn’t hurt. Good luck.
I am having the same problem, but I do not have to wear uniforms and the school really isn’t better. I switched school because I moved, and I hate it at my new school, and my parents wont let me go back to my old school because they say it is too far away, and you have to pay tuition to go to a school out of the school district. I have tried everything to get them to let me go back. I even threatened to run away but still nothing. No matter what I do they will not budge. So this is my last chance to go back to my old school before the school year is over, and I really need answers on how to get my parents to let me go back to my old school.
